About Greg David Weber

Greg was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Pacific Palisades High School where he was an Honors Student and a standout athlete. In 1991, as a senior in high school he was named Team Captain and an All-Conference First Team Selection for his achievements on the baseball field. He then went on to the University of California at Santa Barbara to earn a BA degree in Business Economics.

He started his professional career working for an Heir Search Firm in Southern California. Within a few years he had branched off and become a fully licensed Private Investigator who had begun running his first professional company named NationalPeopleFinders.com. The company was fairly successful over a five year run, however Greg’s heart was not into it any longer and he decided to sell the company and change industries. He had always grown up with the belief that he would be involved with real estate. In 2006 he entered the mortgage industry and by 2007 he was a licensed Loan Originator. He brought a passion and work ethic to the industry that was second to none rising up through the ranks rapidly. By 2008, he was managing a Branch Office for a Mortgage Company in Torrance, California and within a year he had increased profits by more than 125% for his particular branch location. Throughout his career he has enjoyed selling and working with all of the different conventional loan programs in the industry but it wasn’t until he started working with Reverse Mortgages in 2010 that he found a loan program that he could be truly passionate about.

G.W. Golden Financial was created shortly thereafter and while the firm funded all types of conventional loans, it specialized in Reverse Mortgages. Over an eight year period the company has consistently been in the top 75 highest volume reverse mortgage providers in the Country. This includes all national banks, lenders, brokers, etc. while G.W. Golden Financial only originates loans in Southern California. There have been quite a few quarters where G.W. Golden Financial has been in the top 20 highest volume Reverse Mortgage companies in the United States. Our Company prides itself on originating all of our loans with the up most integrity while providing our client’s with an incredible amount of information and knowledge in regards to all of the different loan programs available to them. At G.W. Golden Financial our loan originators always meet our client’s in their home at a minimum of three times during the loan origination process to make sure that our client’s are well informed and comfortable with the loan that they choose to move forward with.

Over the past eight years, Greg Weber has become extremely successful in marketing mortgage products. He has spent tens of millions of dollars on direct response and direct mail marketing campaigns for G.W. Golden Financial. He is very proud of the fact that there has never been a time over that time span when he didn’t have at least half of his sales team earning over $100,000.00 per year. In fact, there have been quite a few loan originators that have earned enough income year over year to be put themselves in the top 3% of income earners in the United States. Greg has always treated his loan originators as part of his business family. He strives to help them to reach their financial dreams and aspirations for themselves, their families, and for their future. With the creation of 1st Platinum Realty, he will now bring this same mindset and marketing acumen to all of the firms realtors and agents.

Greg enjoys all outdoor activities as well as being an avid college football fan. He has a lovely wife and three small children at home that he truly adores. Greg’s motto for life is very simple—“No Excuses, No Regrets.” His top priority behind his family’s happiness is to make 1st Platinum Realty one of the most respected and successful companies in America while truly making a difference in his agents and clients lives.
